A Vote for Hillary in PA Tomorrow is a Vote for McCain
Mon Apr 21, 2008 at 06:02:28 AM PDT
There's a reason why John McCain went after Obama on Bill Ayers yesterday.
He wants to blunt any last minute Obama surge in Pennsylvania to keep Hillary in the race as long as possible. He knows that as soon as Hillary bows out of the race, Obama's considerable resources, organization and rhetorical gifts will pivot around like the guns of a battle ship onto McCain -- anbd start blasting away.
"It's The Economy, Stupid." Remember that Stephanopolous?
Fri Apr 18, 2008 at 10:37:41 AM PDT
Americans have short memories. Back when George Stephanopolous, James Carville and the Clintons had to withstand attacks from George Herbert Walker Bush about draft dodging, extra marital affairs, and post smnoking -- the famous Clinton "war room," had a one sentence motto that guided them: "It's the Economy, Stupid."

Poll Proof Dems Won't Defect to McCain
Fri Mar 28, 2008 at 06:58:52 AM PDT
Lord all mighty....have the pundits and Democrats gone coo coo over recent polls showing that up to 30% of Obama or Hillary supporters will defect to John McCain in the fall election -- if their favored candidate does not get the Democratic nomination.
But, those very same polls tell us something quite different.

The Nuke Attack on Hillary That won't Damage the Dem Brand
Tue Mar 25, 2008 at 07:02:29 AM PDT
It is time for Barack Obama to nuke Hillary. Using the term "nuke," in the context of a political attack, however, invokes imagery of a devestated landscape that hurts not only the target of the attack, but the person who launched it.
There is, though, a nuclear attack that Barack Obama can launch against Hillary Clinton that is more like a Neutron Bomb. I'll explain it below the jump...

John McCain Has a Racist on His Campaign Payroll

It's Time for Pelosi, Dean, Gore and Edwards to End This Thing
Wed Mar 12, 2008 at 06:19:10 AM PDT
Hillary is now openly going after the redneck vote. And the Republicans are now actively messing in the Democratic primary.
Hillary is no longer trying to get elected President -- in 2008. She is trying to get the nomination for 2012. By poisoning the well so much for Barack Obama that he cannot beat John McCain in the fall.
McCain advisors lobbied for Airbus deal -- Uh Oh
Tue Mar 11, 2008 at 07:29:53 AM PDT
Yet another John McCain lobbying scandal is emerging. Lost in the Elliot Spitzer news is this report that three current McCain campaign advisors lobbied for the European Aeronautic Defence Company for the US military's $35 billion air refuling tanker deal.
Team Obama STUPIDLY floats Hillary as VP?!?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
You took the bait! WHY?!?!?
Unless you think Tom Daschle was freelancing while in Meet the Press. [Which would not be the first time an Obama surrogate went off the reservation. But unlike Samantha Power or Austin Gooslby, Tom Daschle is a seasoned politcal veteran].
Hesiod's Hair On Fire! Karl Rove Now Formally Advising McCain
Sun Mar 09, 2008 at 06:48:54 AM PDT
Hello, let me introduce myself. I am Mr. Forest. I am important to our political ecosystem. All of the trees you keep perseverating on, and bumping into are fine and dandy. But, I am the real deal.
Just to let you know, the Democratic primary (tree number 1) is not the general election. That would be me (i.e. the Forest).
Hillary's Running for President...in 2012.
Fri Mar 07, 2008 at 06:11:16 AM PDT
There can be no doubt about it now. Hillary knows the math as well as anyone. She is unlikely to pass Senator Obama in the pledged delegate count, and is not likely to improve on her performances in Michigan or Florida if there is a revote in those states.
A Democratic Party Peace Treaty - Please Sign It

First, let me say that, I know the pattern here. I post something, it gets about 10 recs (on average) and about 20 comments and then suffers a slow agonizing march to oblivion.
This is too important a diary fade away, though. So I'm hoping that you will read it, consider it, and recommend it. I don't give a hoot, so much, about getting my name on the rec list. The reason I want my stuff to be up there is because I think I have valuable insights and ideas to contribute. Some times they are hairbrained. Sometimes they are brilliant. But, this is not about personal aggrandizement or glory.
With that preamble out of the way, I am proposing a Treaty of Peace between Obama and Clinton supporters. More below the jump...
Should Obama Go 3rd Party if Hillary Keeps This Up?
Tue Mar 04, 2008 at 05:52:41 AM PDT
I have to tell you, I am angry as hell at Hillary Clinton right now.
She is not running a tough primary campaign anymore. She is running a knock down, drag out, dirty as hell general election campaign against Barack Obama. And Obama, for strategic reasons, and because he's worried about winning the general election, is pulling his punches against Hillary.
So much for experience: In '00 McCain backed Bush over Gore.
Mon Mar 03, 2008 at 05:55:09 AM PDT
How can John McCain go around the country arguing that peoplewhould vote for him ver Barack Obama baceuase he has far more experience than Obama does on national security issues?
John McCain HIMSELF rejected that argument in 2000 when he backed George W. Bush for President over the extremely experienced, sitting Vice President of the United States, Al Gore.
Antisemite James Baker Endorsed John McCain
Fri Feb 29, 2008 at 05:49:45 AM PDT
(note: Reposted from yesterday without an offensive poll question that was added as a joke, but became troll bait).
Antisemitic, Israel hater, James Baker III endorsed John McCain for President.
I call on John McCain to denounce AND reject James Baker, who once said:
Humor: Help Russert Write More Idiotic Debate Gotcha Hypotheticals
Wed Feb 27, 2008 at 07:20:40 AM PDT
I'm sure we were all amused, dusgusted, angered, frustrated and/or depressed about the idiotic questions Tim Russert threw at both Senator Clinton and Senator Obama last night.
But rather than post some kind of substantive diary criticizing Russert, I thought I would let kossacks have some fun mocking his pathetic ass by posting your own ridiculous hypothetical questions in the comments of this diary.
To give you an idea, here are a couple I came up with:
